Summary:The Facility Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the detention center, overseeing the security, safety, and well-being of detainees, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining the facility's daily operations, including intake processing, transportation, housing assignments, and release procedures; food services; requiring strong leadership, administrative, and security skills to manage a complex environment with a focus on detainee care and control and facility security.Please Note: This position is Contingent upon contract award.The salary range for this position is $142,000-$152,000/yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

- Must have in-depth knowledge of ACA standards and 2011 PBNDS (2016 Revision) requirements.
- Providing a single-point-of-contact coordination with the Government, and execution of ICE directives.
- Ensuring ACA standards are communicated to the work force, and that ACA performance-based standards are met in every aspect of Contractor services.
- Ensuring 2011 PBNDS (2016 Revision) standards are communicated to the work force, and that 2011 PBNDS (2016 Revision) are met in every aspect of Contractor services.
- Providing direction to the workforce to achieve ICE and ERO metrics.
- Meeting at least weekly with the COR to review Contractor performance and plan improvements.
- Confirms that actual staffing complies with the Staffing Plan.
- Providing effective administrative support.
- Ensuring the Quality Control Plan (QCP) is executed effectively.
- Ensuring safe work practices, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring safety compliance and communicating safety expectations to the staff and detainees
- Monitoring Supervisory Detention Officer performance.
- Ensuring Facility Security and Control performance measures are achieved.
- Ensuring delivery of a Monthly Activity Report that summarizes Contractor staffing, activities, and performance for the contract's previous month period to the COR.
- Acts as liaison between Corporate Office and the COR and other Government representatives.
- Develops and implements budget plan.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred major in criminal justice, law enforcement or corrections management
- OR a minimum of 15 years of corrections or military experience
- Minimum five (5) years of administrative experience
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record, able to drive company vehicle
- Must be an ACA member
- Must complete ACA accredited training annually
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient in using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration software
- Adept at explaining technical aspects of field work to internal and external clients verbally and in writing
- Must be a US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the US for permanent residence
- Must have resided in the U.S. for the last five years (unless abroad on official U.S. government duty)
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Have at least one year of general experience that demonstrates the following:
- the ability to greet and deal tactfully with the public
- capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations
- shall be literate and be able to interpret printed rules and regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials, and must be able to compose reports
- good judgement, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and demonstrate satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her position responsibilities
- ability to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as fires, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuations
- Must maintain current/physical residency in the continental US.
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass a medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30 days prior to initial assignment and annual thereafter
- Must meet ACA and 2011 PBNDS (2016 Revision) requirements
- Must have in-depth knowledge of ACA standards and 2011 PBNDS (2016 Revision) requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior law enforcement, corrections or detention services and/or military experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software
- Professional Registration such as PMP
- Master's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement or corrections management or related field
- Knowledge of Jail Management Systems

Working Environment:The work environment characteristics described in this job description are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. Work is performed in a detention facility environment, may be subject to temperature and noise level changes.Work areas will include all areas of the secured facility and often works alone. Works where slips & trips may occur frequently and often exposed to sharp objects. Is often exposed to blood borne pathogens. Exposed to maximum heat of 100 degrees, and minimum cold of 25 degrees with some noise and chemicals, in a moist or dry environment with exposure to sun, rain, and snow. Overall demands of this position are moderate.Physical Demands (including but not limited to):
- May be required to bend and stoop frequently and occasionally kneel or crouch.
- Often climbs stairs and works with arms above the shoulder.
- May often be required to move heavy equipment.
- Required to lift 50 lbs. or less frequently and often lifts 50-65 lbs.
