Summary:

This part time Facilities and Events Specialist is responsible for assisting the Marketing, Human Resources, and other departments in setting up equipment for special events. Included in events set up will be the driving of trucks while towing custom trailers and the setup of trailers. The Facilities and Events Specialist will also assist the Corporate Properties Facilities Team with deliveries, errands, and vendor access.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Driving trucks and towing custom trailers (Chiefs Tailgate Trailer, Big ATM Trailer, Events Trailer) included but not limited to St. Louis events
  • Delivering Chiefs Tailgate Trailer to Arrowhead Stadium for each home game and setting up trailer and other equipment for pre-game tailgating events (tents, tables, chairs, heaters, coolers, food and beverage stations, generators, Audio Visual equipment). Clean and pack up equipment post-game and return to storage.
  • Deliver custom trailers and set up for Red Friday Events (tents, tables, chairs, etc.).
  • Set up Marketing, Human Resources, Branch and Departmental events including, KC Royals Events, St Louis Cardinals, Golf Tournaments, Festivals and Street Fairs, Grand Openings and Access Center events.
  • Set up employee events such as Fruit Day, Health Fair, Blood Drives, Five Weeks of Giving.
  • Set up Conference Rooms and Training Rooms
  • Oversight of employee amenities such as Saunas, Gym and Yoga Studio, patio grill, tables and chairs.
  • Assist Facilities team by picking up and delivering parts and materials, providing vendor access to properties and escorting vendors.
  • Take pictures of properties to report damage or condition of properties.
  • Pick up oversized packages from US Post Office for Office Services Team
Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to drive truck and tow trailers.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to set up audio visual equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate appropriately with vendors and employees of all levels.
  • High level of dependability/responsibility required.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Availability to travel occasionally overnight.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and able to operate and maintain assigned motor vehicles safely, independently, and reliably.
