The Shaler Area School District is seeking a dynamic and skilled leader to oversee our facilities operations and manage capital and energy management projects. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities, including planning, execution, contractor management, and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction management, with preference for those who have experience in school construction and maintenance (not required), strong leadership skills, and proficiency in technology relevant to construction and facilities management. Candidates should also have extensive experience in all facets of construction and building maintenance, with additional preference for those with experience in union negotiations, administration of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), school construction, bonds, and public financing programs.A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant trade experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A valid driver's license is required, and current clearances must be provided upon offer. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
