CareStar, Inc. is currentlyseeking a Facilities and Vendor Manager in the Information Technology Department to plan and execute defined projects within the Information Technology Department, as well as any office management and facilities projects.THE POSITIONCareStar is looking for motivated individuals who:Plan and execute projects related to the procurement, allocation and maintenance of software and equipment.Plan budgets for and negotiate contracts, equipment, furniture, facilities, and existing and new supplies.Monitor the facility and grounds to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well maintained.Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.Ensure that facilities meet environmental, health and security standards and comply with governmental regulations.Engage vendors, after at least two (2) quotes, to upgrade, repair or maintain facilities.Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Administration preferred.One (1) year of related experience required.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and flexibility in relation to job requirements.Effective communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with respect for others, including individuals, coworkers and other professionals within a diverse work environment.Availability to meet the needs/requirements of staff, coworkers and individuals during CareStar's standard business hours.Computer skills sufficient to enter information electronically, use CareStar's website and email, and demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.Understanding and compliance with CareStar Policies and Procedures.Adherence to the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.THE LOCATIONThis position is open in Hamilton County.THE COMPANYCareStar was founded in 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio with the mission to Improve Communities by Improving Lives.
