At ISG , we're seeking a dynamic Facilities Assessment Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the functionality and safety of the facilities we evaluate and design.In this role, you will work directly with Thad Dahling, Facility Management and Planning Strategist, and Tiara Marcus , Project Management Practice Group Leader. You will also collaborate with a dedicated team of project managers, architects, engineers, technical writers and business development specialists that support the overall firm. The Facilities Assessment Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of building systems and infrastructure, identifying maintenance and improvement needs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role involves performing detailed assessments, developing reports, and recommending solutions to enhance facility operations and efficiency.Interested? Here are more details: ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Conduct and lead facility condition assessments, from the initial planning stages, through the final deliverable to client
  • Create and manage project schedules based on client needs
  • Work directly with clients to understand goals and challenges and incorporate these into overall project scope
  • Work in partnership with internal disciplines and departments to provide a high-quality product
  • Assist in creating the final deliverable to client and review for quality assurance
  • Provide sufficient information as part of the facility condition assessment, to ensure success during the subsequent design phases
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM)) are a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field
  • Ability to empathetically connect with clients and internal team members
  • Ability to lead client communication and maintain client relationships for multiple projects
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power BI is beneficial, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development
