Job DescriptionThe Facilities Assistant is the primary point of contact for the Facilities, Safety Security Department across the organization for facility assistance. The Facilities Assistant will act as a helpdesk for all facility needs and reports. The Facilities Assistant will provide reports to the Director for, but not limited to, financial decisions, construction needs, safety and security needs, monthly surveillance reports. The Facilities Assistant will control access to the Saint Francis Ministries campus and buildings, serve as the campus mail handler, coordinate with outside agencies for use of the Woodlawn facilities, and coordinate necessary repairs on the campus in conjunction with the Northern Area Coordinator.
- Provides quality customer service when greeting individuals either by phone or in person.
- Provides technical assistance with distributing and sorting mail, assembling packets, and sending and receiving information.
- May purchase and maintain office inventory.
- May take minutes at meetings.
- Assures confidentiality of all data and information.
- Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required.
- Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
- Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
- Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
- Ensures clients' rights are protected
Requirements
- Associate degree or 2-3-year equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years or more in the administration field.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass a drug screen, KBI, MVR and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check.
- Lifting requirement of 30 - 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
