Carbon Robotics is seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Assistant to manage the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. This contract position requires someone who can work independently and handle a wide range of administrative tasks efficiently.
What you'll do:
* Order, maintain and replenish stock of office and cleaning supplies and pantry/kitchen necessities for multiple offices
* Office Administration tasks as needed by the leadership team.
* Maintain cleanliness by managing trash and recycling, refilling supplies, running the dishwasher, and ensuring kitchen and bathroom areas are tidy between cleaning visits
* Oversee grounds maintenance
* Responsible for maintaining and repairing company owned appliances.
* Work in tandem with the supply chain team to receive, track, and communicate deliveries to include receiving mail packages and pallets.
* Manage vendor relationships to include office cleaners and facility maintenance for multiple locations.
* Reconcile monthly credit card expenses, manage budgets for supplies and tech accessories, and oversee truck fleet expenses including tolls and registrations.
* Event planning for monthly and yearly events
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
* High School diploma or equivalent required;
* Previous experience in facilities, office management, vendor management or a similar role is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Ability to work independently using strong organizational and time-management skills .
* Proficiency in Google Suite.
Requirements:
* Valid Drivers Licence
* Perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds.
* Operate a forklift (training provided if necessary).
* Flexibility to respond to off-hours needs.
* Ability to pass a Criminal Background check.
