Qualifications: High School Diploma/Equivalent; post-secondary education preferred Three years of experience in community education, recreation, or other related fields. Minimum Desired Qualifications: Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and develop relationships with community members, employees, partner organizations, and serve as a team player. Ability to assess community needs to implement an efficient facility use plan for community groups and individuals. Demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, promotion and evaluation of facilities and understanding of cultural competency. Knowledge of current technologies and ability to learn and use available technical resources and website content management. Purpose: Maximizes the community use of all school district facilities, city park shelter and field rentals. Assists community members and groups with their requests to use public facilities owned by the City of St. Anthony and St. Anthony-New Brighton School District. Responsibilities: - Maximizes the community use of all school district facilities, city park shelter and field rentals.
- Facilitates requests from community members by following procedures, collecting payment and insurance, communicating with building supervisors, school district custodial and city public works staff.
- Works closely with the St. Anthony Sports Boosters program
- Communicates the facility use schedule with stakeholders, resolves scheduling conflicts, encourages collaboration among multiple organizations, and schedules building supervisors.
- Hires building supervisors, conducting necessary background checks, establishing fees, and partnering with local organizations to enhance partnerships.
Employment Dates: 12 month position, 20 hours per weekSalary: $30,000 to $32,000 depending on experience
