Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facility Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and project management, demonstrating leadership capabilities to ensure the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our equipment and systems while fostering a safe working environment.

Duties

  • Coordinate and manage all facility maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
  • Lead projects related to facility upgrades, renovations, or new installations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Fabricate necessary components or parts as required for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services when needed.
  • Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff, promoting best practices in mechanical knowledge and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management principles, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Experience using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
