Empire Merchants North acts as a marketing agent for the brands that we represent and is proud to employ the most knowledgeable and well-equipped sales force in Upstate New York.We are seeking a high energy, motivated Facilities Custodian in our Coxsackie, NY location.Competitive Pay and Union Benefits / Hourly rate $18.65 per hour Full time - 40 hour work week / Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4pm with 1/2 hour lunch, Friday 8:30am - 5pm 1/2 hour lunchUnder the direction of the Facilities Manager, execute the activities necessary to maintain the facilities consisting of buildings and grounds.ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS•Maintain a safe environment inside and outside of the facility including breakroom, office, and restroom cleaning, shoveling sidewalks and entrances.•Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.•Keep the warehouse aisles clear of broken wood, glass and plastic.•Warehouse floor sweeping by hand and with floor cleaning equipment.•Keep warehouse and warehouse office trash receptacles emptied.•Maintaining supplies of copy paper and water in the office.•Move tables for meetings and back after the meetings end and ensure the rooms are cleaned. •Clean smoking areas and empty any trash in smoking areas.•Maintaining inventory of rest rooms, break rooms, office supplies (water, copy paper, etc.) cleaning and kitchen supplies.•Ordering of all supplies for cleaning bathrooms and break rooms.•Complete cleaning logs in bathrooms, breakroom and warehouse isles•Assist with special projects as needed or directed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneSkills & Requirements QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certifications and/or licenses:
