Facilities Director, All Sport Health and FitnessAre you passionate about maintaining a top-tier facility that fosters health, wellness, and community? Join our management team as the Director of Facilities! In this leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance, operations, and development of our state-of-the-art fitness center, Indoor and Outdoor Pools, studio spaces, and overall 80,000 sq. ft. club. As the Facilities Director, you will directly manage building operations, grounds maintenance, and various improvement projects. Hands-on experience in general contracting is essential for this role; we're looking for someone who can expertly handle repairs, manage renovations, and take a proactive approach to keeping our facilities in top shape.Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management and proven leadership abilities in supervising teams. They will be resourceful, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a high-quality environment for members and staff.Key Responsibilities:•Facility Maintenance & Upkeep: Oversee the general maintenance of all buildings, pools, tennis courts, and outdoor areas to ensure optimal functioning and presentation.•Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, schedule, and supervise the department heads of Maintenance and Housekeeping to ensure timely and efficient execution of all tasks.•Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring the execution of service contracts for landscaping, snow removal, repairs, and maintenance.•Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and other key systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.•Project Coordination: Work closely with senior management to plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and other capital projects in line with business objectives.•Safety & Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions where necessary.•Customer Experience: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the facility environment meets high standards for member satisfaction. Quickly respond to and resolve any facility-related issues that may impact member experience.Required Skills:•Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of technicians, groundskeepers, and maintenance staff.•Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.•Customer Mindset: Strong ability to understand and anticipate the needs of members and staff, maintaining a facility that enhances the overall customer experience.•Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool systems, and grounds maintenance.•Project & Time Management: Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and oversee capital improvement projects.•Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to quickly and efficiently address issues as they arise, minimizing disruptions to daily operations.•Budget & Resource Management: Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and optimizing resources to ensure cost-effective facility operations.•Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.•Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: Ability to identify and implement energy-saving measures and sustainability initiatives that align with the facility's operational goals.Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year All Sport Health and FitnessMuch like our fitness philosophy, All Sport continues to grow and renew itself.
