Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Energy Technician for one of our supermarket retail clients. As a Facilities Energy Technician, you will be responsible for the optimization of the performance of refrigeration, HVAC, and building equipment. Utilize energy usage data to drive strategies that reduce consumption. This role sits in the Raleigh/ Durham area and will oversee the 70+ retail stores in that area. Required Skills & Experience Associates Degree or 2-year Technical Certificate in Refrigeration/HVAC program 5+ years of proven Refrigeration/HVAC experience and satisfactory overall performance EPA Type Universal Certification Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management software Demonstrated ability to interface with control manufacturers software Must hold and maintain a valid drivers license Demonstrated mentoring and training experience Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics License in Refrigeration/HVAC mechanical or electrical Supervisory experience Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
