We have more than 275 employees and offices in Stamford, New York, Hong Kong, London, and San Francisco.LOCATION: 660 Fifth Avenue, New York, NYHOURS: 9:00am - 6:00pmJOB FUNCTION:The Facilities Flex Assistant will maintain the day-to-day operations of the NY office space. This position will report into the NY Office Manager and requires partnership with the Reception and Facilities Teams.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Kitchen food and inventory maintenance; stocking and ordering food for pantries, tracking and monitoring consumption and maintaining weekly spreadsheet in Excel
  • Office supply and inventory maintenance; place orders with FreshDirect and WB Mason
  • Research new snack options
  • Office maintenance and repairs; coordinating with building management as needed on repairs and cleaning
  • Daily mail and package delivery
  • Daily lunch distribution
  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships
  • Research new services and appliances to facilitate operations
  • Serve as back-up to Reception as needed
  • Assist with preparation and execution of internal moves
  • Assist with Viking events
QUALIFICATIONS:The ideal candidate will have:
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience in facilities management and office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays, as needed

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $65,000 to $90,000. In addition to base salary, Viking employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, 100% coverage of medical and dental premiums, and paid lunches. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be individually determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, and other qualifications.
