Under this concept, the Comporium Group is uniquely positioned to offer customers a one-stop-shopping for all their communications needs.SUMMARYInstall, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment for all properties. Also, provide other general maintenance and repairs including electrical, structural, and plumbing as well as respond to emergencies as needed. Maintain high safety standards and respond to emergencies as required.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform basic HVAC maintenance and repairs including cleaning coils, changing filters, belts, greasing bearings, checking fuses, voltage, capacitance and electrical components, replacement of capacitors and contactors, cleaning condensate lines, and visually check for leaks.
  • Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on HVAC including utilization of multimeters and thermal imaging cameras, installation of compressors, fans, and metering devices. Also, have advanced knowledge of control wiring to design circuits and relays, including bypassing circuit boards and installation of low ambient controls.
  • Provide HVAC system design and installation of Roof Top Units (RTU's), split systems, and mini-splits, as well as conduct load analysis for proper unit size and airflow. Provide rigging for RTU (Roof Top Unit) installs, perform troubleshooting on pneumatic controls, perform diagnostic and repairs for boilers, solder and braze dissimilar metals, and perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on BAS (Building Automation System) controls, circuits, and sensors. Perform advanced refrigeration system repairs and to reclaim refrigerant using reclaiming units, vacuum pumps and manifold gauges.
  • Provide superior customer service to internal customers through timely and successful completion of all work orders related to buildings and infrastructure.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, infrastructure, and assets including electrical, structural, and plumbing
  • Minimize risk by working safely and following all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Perform Building Automation Systems (BAS) assessments and repairs including security, fire, and other controls and logic as well as perform wireless tower maintenance and repairs on tower light controls and alarms. Understand grounding and bonding per NEC (National Electrical Code) to identify CAD weld deficiencies for grounding in wireless compounds.
  • Perform basic structural maintenance and repairs including roofs (patches, caulking, and sealing), windows (caulking, sealing, and closures) and perform basic carpentry and construction utilizing hand tools.
  • Perform building inspections to identify preventative maintenance requirements for all systems and infrastructure required to sustain high-quality real estate assets and superior network reliability. Provide coordination with building-related vendors and contractors for successful completion of assigned projects and maintain professional relationships with building partners.
  • Assist Facilities Supervisor and Manager on special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years related HVAC work experience
  • Proficient in computer, mechanical, logic controls, pneumatic systems and BAS
  • Able to be on-call subject to nights, weekends, extended hours, and work in inclement weather as required. Able to work on roofs to service roof top units as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work outdoors and work in confined spaces.
  • Able to respond to emergencies in a calm and professional manner, self-motivated and able to work independently of others.
  • Valid driver's licenses required, EPA Certificate required, mechanical licenses a plus, LSS Yellow Belt Certification
