Job Description:
A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Facilities and Maintenance Manager for their two aviation engine manufacturing plants in Miami, FL. This person will be responsible for managing three maintenance technicians, as well as three security technicians.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily operations of facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general upkeep.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and supervise repair work performed by external contractors and vendors.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance and security personnel, ensuring they have the tools and training needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient coverage and productivity.
- Evaluate team performance and provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets, employees, and visitors.
- Supervise security staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor security systems and respond to security breaches or incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and drills to ensure readiness for emergencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance experience.
- Team lead or management experience.
- Experience working in the aviation manufacturing industry.
- Biligual in Spanish.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Engine manufacturing experience.
Compensation:
This position is paying between $100,000-$120,000 annually based on candidates years of experience, education, certifications, etc.
