Facilities Maintenance Mechanic open to work on the Weekend shift, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position is responsible for addressing urgent work orders, as needed, and performing associated daily maintenance and repair activities on basic machines.
**The weekend shift runs from Friday to Sunday, with 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position works 36 hours but is paid for 40. **What you will be doing - Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and repairing roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.
- Using a variety of basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrapers, and box cutters.
- Moving and setting up equipment as needed.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure its longevity.
- Using computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output information.
What We Are Looking For - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ year of experience in facilities maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Knowledge of painting, roofing, and repair techniques.
- Ability to use a variety of basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of computer and web-based systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Driver's License Required
