Position Summary:The Infrastructure Maintenance Technician will engage in facility infrastructure equipment maintenance to ensure continuous operation, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. This position will be involved with basic and advanced mechanical work as qualified. Roles Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of facility infrastructure equipment and their controls to ensure proper operation of machinery to include:
- Steam boilers and associated equipment
- Hot water generators and associated equipment
- Chillers and associated equipment
- Rooftop air conditioning units
- Air handling units
- Dehumidification equipment
- De-Ionized water equipment
- Troubleshoot heavy industrial and infrastructure machinery
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
- Accurately document work activities on applicable work orders
- Trend, collect and analyze facilities equipment performance
Perform other position related duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications:Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with maintaining and operating rotating equipmentAvailability to work any shift
Preferred:
- Familiarity with equipment controls
- Familiarity with BMS/EMS/SCADA systems
- EPA Universal Certification for Refrigerant Handling
- NAPE Certification for boiler operations or equivalent certification/experience
- Experience with industrial HVAC systems
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- May be exposed to cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas
