Are you ready to be a driving force behind our operations? HMTX Industries is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our Real Estate & Facilities department, you will play a vital role in keeping our facilities running smoothly. Your expertise in maintenance and repair will ensure optimal efficiency and safety. Join us in shaping the future of flooring and making a positive impact on our community. Responsibilities: Operational Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance, repair material handling equipment, maintain service records, and collaborate with contractors to schedule work. Facility Maintenance: Perform general repairs, handle painting and plastering tasks, inspect facilities, respond to emergency calls, and estimate and procure materials. Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience and training in light electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and cleaning
  • Welding and metal cutting certification (a plus)
  • Ability to read blueprints, wire schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Familiar with hand tools and power tools
  • Experience driving a yard truck (preferred)
  • Able to safely utilize ladders and telescopic lifts
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of building mechanical processes and/or construction
  • Troubleshooting Pneumatic Equipment and Basic PLC logic
  • CPR and First Aid
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Experience with CMMS software
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily working indoors/outdoors in a warehouse environment.
  • Prolonged exposure to seasonal weather conditions may occur.
  • Physical demands include walking, lifting, standing, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Work location: Rincon, GA Salary: $27h
