Facilities Maintenance WorkerAltoona, PA Based PositionWell established community bank is seeking dependable, detail oriented, and experienced Facilities Maintenance Person to join their teamQualifications:Facility maintenance experience is a requiredGeneral skills for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and landscaping requiredProfessional in appearance and communicationsHigh priority for quality Customer Service, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Strong Integrity, and ThoroughnessValid driver license with clean MVR - Must travel to multiple branches driving a company vehicleHigh school diploma or equivalentPre-employment drug and background check will be requiredGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.Cuts grass, trims weeds, trees, and shrubs, and performs other general landscaping on organization's properties.Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Washes windows, soffit, and outside of structures.Performs repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks.Repairs and treats structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets, and roofs.Repairs door hinges, cleaning plugged key slots, changing filters on ventilating, heating, and air conditioning units.Services kitchen, appliances, and emergency equipment, reporting mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action.Removal of snow and ice on sidewalks.Assists other departments with moving furniture and equipment and unloading and storing supplies.Activating & deactivating building alarms; responding to alarm calls after & during regular work hours. Maintains company vehicle and keep appropriate mileage records.Maintain up to date records for all state, federal, and insurance semi-annual and annual inspections.Overview of Schedule and Compensation:Typically working daytime hours during 8:00 am 4:30 pm.May be necessary for an evening or weekend at times for special project or emergency repairHourly rate position - based on experience and/or educationMedical & Dental Insurance provided at the first of the month after 60 days of service 401k, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance offered upon eligibilityPTO time earn and paid holidays*All job opportunities listed by DBD Staffing are Direct Hire positions.
