Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control Division in Anaheim, CA. The Facilities Manager will first be responsible for leading and managing all facets of the facility relocation including initial planning and budgeting to final execution and post-move assessment. Post-relocation responsibilities will include oversight of all facility-related activities including, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and material resources for manufacturing support operations at the facility as well as the safety, functionality, and appearance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000/annually

What Will You Do?
- Ensure a successful facility relocation with minimal disruption to business operations on schedule and budget by guiding leadership on various aspects of relocation including, building suitability, environmental, utility availability, and investment guidance to reach future goals.
- Ensure a safe work environment for all employees through the implementation of company-directed safety programs, compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and promotion of a strong safety culture.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the coordination of space allocation and layout, facility renovations, cleaning, and maintenance of the facility.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and minimal disruption to operations.
- Select and manage external vendors/contractor relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering aspects related to the facility, including layout optimization, equipment installation, and utility connections.
- Manage and enhance current preventative maintenance programs and monitor repairs and upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Enhance spare parts for equipment based on preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
- Provide support to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Eliminate waste throughout the manufacturing operations through the implementation of Lean tools and processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, and promoting employee engagement at all levels of the plant.
- Direct and develop maintenance and janitorial staff.
- Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budget.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks based on preventative maintenance data analysis.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders, including regular progress updates, status reports, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing facility-related projects.

Qualifications:
Required Skills
Education:
- A bachelors degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field is required. Equivalent experience is considered.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance-related role is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations is required.
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience in leading through influence are required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
- The ability to prioritize according to the short and long-term needs of the business is required.
- The ability to effectively communicate and interact across all levels of an organization is required.
- The ability to work in a manufacturing environment with the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection is required.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
- This position will be exposed to heights over 10 feet off the ground.
- This position will be exposed to confined spaces.
