Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Leads and monitors - regularly scheduled inspections - for maintenance and safety procedures, routine repairs and trouble shooting, as necessary to ensure that all structure(s) and operating systems are in good working order.
* Performs corrective and preventive maintenance and repairs in order to identify potential issues before they become costly problems.
* Engages and negotiates with external contractors and licensed tradesmen - on large scale projects - with management review and approval
* Establishes and manages SOPs for maintenance, sanitation, core services and waste management.
* Maintains the inventory, storage and distribution of all supplies and equipment
* Provides recommendations for new, value-add equipment. Manages the installation, testing and maintenance of this equipment
* Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to help enhance functionality, efficiency and sustainability of our fixed assets
* Leads, trains and develops members of the NJ CCF Facilities' team
* Maintains current knowledge of and compliance with all state regulations, Acreage policies and procedures. Creates and maintains a system for maintaining warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements and contracts for all of our fixed assets
* Perform related duties, as assigned by the National Director, Facilities Mgmt
Qualifications
Education and Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience in construction and knowledge of the use and care of commonly used equipment and tools - Preferred
* Strong experience with preventive maintenance, planning and execution - Preferred
* 5 or more years facilities management experience
