Title: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Operations Manager
Secondary To: Director of Operations
Summary:
The Facilities Manager maintains and oversees a companys grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates within company budgets.
Essential Duties:
- Plan and coordinates all installations and refurbishments.
- Maintains and updates the preventative maintenance program
- Managing all vendor contracts.
- Ensuring efficiency of all building systems.
- Maintains adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
- Coordinates site safety programs.
- Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
- Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
- Managing facilities planning and space allocation
- Preparing cost estimates for moves and equipment
- Coordinating with department heads and building contractors
- Managing maintenance of grounds
- Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
- Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers
- Coordinating building security and maintenance services
- Managing and supervising all sanitation/facilities personnel
- Overseeing all building functions.
- Determine work procedures, preparing employee work schedules and expediting workflow.
- Ensure that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company related policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, and vendors.
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.

Compensation details: 95000-110000 Yearly Salary
