Make your move to B&H today!Job Overview: The Facilities Mobile Security 3 is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment for their assigned shift. The Facilities Mobile Security 3 will work directly under the assigned Facilities Security Supervisor to report any potential security threats by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings. In addition, the rover will assist in all other areas when directed by the Facilities Security Supervisor.Essential Responsibilities:Patrol/inspect premises regularly to maintain order and establish presenceReport any suspicious behaviors and happeningsSecure all exits and bay doors, cover bay doors as needed by operationsAssist in the screening room/operating metal detectors, utilizing handheld wandRespond to alarms and react in a timely mannerRespond to all emergenciesSubmit daily reportsEnforce the Prohibited Items List and all company policiesSpecific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge of security protocolsStrong observational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to solve problems as they ariseAbility to react appropriately in stressful situationsAbility to work alone or as part of a teamMust be able to follow safety standardsPossess strong verbal and written communication skillsFriendly and positive demeanorExcellent communication skills via phone, radio, email, and messaging applications with all levels of personnelPreferred Education, Experience and Licenses:Registered as security officer (SORA) - Not necessary but can be provided through companyExperience in a similar role (5 years)Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:Warehouse and Office EnvironmentMust be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk facility for 8 to 10 hoursScheduled Hours: Sunday 10am-6pm and Monday-Thursday 4pm-12amEligibility contingent upon background screeningWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
