As we enter an exciting phase of growth, new and existing employees have a tremendous opportunity to grow alongside the company as it scales.How Your Role Fits In As a Facilities Repair and Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the operational excellence of our distribution centers and corporate office. This hands-on position allows you to utilize a variety of skills while making a direct impact on the functionality and safety of our facilities.What you'll do:
- Facility Grounds: Evaluate and collaborate with management to ensure proper groundskeeping and maintenance.
- Install and Repair: Assist with the installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment through our distribution center footprint.
- Construction Projects: Perform tasks like carpentry, painting, minor electrical work, plumbing, and minor concrete repairs.
- Emergency Response: Address after-hours emergencies to ensure safety and resolve urgent facility concerns.
- Preventative Maintenance: Proactively maintain facilities to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
What it takes to succeed:
- Skills and Experience: Hands-on experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, concrete finishing, painting, drywall finishing, and flooring installation.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).This position will operate a commercial vehicle provided by WOW Logistics, which will require successfully passing a DOT physical and being deemed insurable by WOW Logistics insurance provider.
