FACILITIES SECURITY OFFICER
NineTwelve is currently seeking an individual to fill a Facilities Security Officer (FSO) and Facility Manager position in the Crane, IN area. Potential candidates must have an active government security clearance and relevant prior experience in Industrial Security and Facility Management or related fields and must be a certified FSO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing industrial and personnel security programming maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, 32 CFR part 117, and other relevant Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards
- Maintain and manage Facility Clearance Level (FCL) ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Preparation and completion of security audits, government inspections and self-inspections, in accordance with DCSA compliance
- Routinely operates within databases such as DISS, NISS, NBIS, NCAISS, etc.
- Process and manage personnel security clearances; oversee clearance ownership, verify visitor clearances, COMSEC, CAC verifications, etc.
- Establish and implement security procedures pertaining to facility security, visitor control, secure spaces, etc.
- Ensure proper handling of classified materials
- Prepare and administer annual security education and training to maintain compliance for all cleared employees
- Facilitates day-to-day security functions; foreign travel, facilitating personnel inquiries, investigations, reporting requirements, violation investigations, initial security briefings, debriefs, etc.
- Liaison with customer, DoD and IC agencies such as DCSA, and private contractors as applicable and required
- Manage SAP programs and secure spaces
- Assist in implementation of security protocols per DD254 requirements
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations of a DoD facility/ site with occupied by numerous contractors, DoD and government personnel
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/ active Secret clearance and ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Must be Industrial Security Subject Matter Expert
- Extensive understanding and knowledge of the NISPOM, CFR 32 part 117, and other ICD standards
- Strong understanding of physical security
- Extensive experience and comfortability using and operating within DISS, NISS, NBIS, eQIP, JPAS, SWFT
- Experience in SCIF, secure space, and closed area operations and management
- Strong working knowledge of relevant security regulations and forms
- Completion of CDSE FSO Certification
