Closing Date: Open until filled Position: Facilities Specialist Location: Price, Utah (remote) Facilities Specialist: In the Facilities Specialist role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and safety of our facilities. Your goal will be to ensure a clean, efficient, and safe environment for all employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in facilities management. What you'll need to be our Facilities Specialist:
  • Knowledge of building repairs and maintenance
  • Highly organized and able to complete work accurately amid competing priorities
  • Experience in budget management
  • Capability to maintain and monitor complex systems.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

What you'll do as the Facility Specialist:
  • Effectively monitor facility requests and manage the entire request process, including sourcing professionals, obtaining bids, managing the approval and purchase order process, adhering to the budget, and ensuring project completion.
  • Manage key fobs and access cards, including assigning and removing employee keypad access.
  • Oversee vehicles and maintenance.
  • Update the Emergency Preparedness Plan and Incident Response flipchart annually as needed.
  • Collaborate with Elwood Staffing to hire janitorial staff and manage their cleaning schedule and hours.
