Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision, perform routine duties in support of campus Facilities and Operations including; custodial duties, event support (Set-up & Tear down), and routine building maintenance changing filters, lights, painting, moving, and seasonal assistance with grounds. This position requires the ability to physically perform moderate manual labor. Act as part of the campus emergency response team as needed.
Required Qualifications:
* Physical strength to do required work AND two years of experience as a Utility Worker 1; OR equivalent education/experience.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to perform heavy, indoor, and outdoor work in all weather conditions; follow oral and written directions and one year of custodial or building maintenance work OR equivalent education/experience.
* Must have or be able to obtain at the time of hire, a valid unrestricted driver's license.
* Physical ability to perform moderate physical labor and the tasks assigned.
* Excellent work attendance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience providing event support services.

Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
