**Facilities - Austin, TX - Full Time**

We need you to fill the role of Facilities Staff member. This is a Full Time Non-Exempt position. As a motivated Facilities Staff member, you are an integral piece to the organization. You willneed to be able multi-task both light maintenance and events. Maintenance includes painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and when necessary custodial. Events include setting up and breaking down different program events that take place. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability confirm maintenance online and understand that events come first. A facilities staff member must be able to be responsible and can assume the supervisor role when necessary. This includes but is not limited to dealing with other departmental staff, campus partners, paying clients and senior staff. You will wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities: * Experience in maintenance field preferred but not required

* Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft suite

* Understanding the importance of good effective communication

* Valid Texas Driver License

* DPS Background check

* Ability to work weekends

* Opening duties

* Closing duties

* Ability to lift 50+ lbs

* Ability to work overtime when needed

**Job Requirements**

* Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

* Experience is preferred but not mandatory we will train the right candidate.

* Valid Driver License

* Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check).

**Compensation and Benefits**

* We will pay you an hourly salary of $14.00 - $15.00
