Continue reading Facilities Tech I $21/HR Maintenance Tech Position 2nd Shift | US6 Mon-Fri 0100 PM- 0930 PM Clayton/Mooresville - Right Down 70The Maintenance Technician, under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required. The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with PLC controlled equipment, pneumatic power and electricity with voltages of up to 480 volts.Job Requirements: Functional Competencies: Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus Conversational Spanish skills a plus Experienced with hand and power tools Multi-task in a fast paced work environment that has a strong customer focus.Education/Experience: 2-4 years experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation. 2-4 years experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.
