Facilities Technical Integration Buildings Manager Job ID 197897 Posted 17-Dec-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areasof Interest Data Centers, Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America About the role: As the Facilities Technical Integration Buildings Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational excellence for the FM Engineering Operations team and our Client. Demonstrating your extensive technical expertise, you will support the management and optimization of the client's technology. In this role, you will serve as the regional authority for the client's Digital Building applications and infrastructure, empowering the organization to achieve its smart building and sustainability goals. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including Engineering, Asset Management, and Energy Management, to deliver flawless integration, data-driven insights, and enhanced operational efficiency. What you'll do: Ensuring system reliability and uptime, keeping the buildings systems (BMS, EPMS, Lighting, Remote Facilities Monitoring, Workplace Occupancy, etc.) along with all associated component parts in excellent working order. Assist in the development of the building operating system, smart building strategies, process improvements and capital projects to support the client. Oversees the end-to-end management of change requests - spanning technical, functional, and user experience elements. Responsible for conducting ad-hoc or scheduled user training. Conducts site visits, surveys, inspections, holds meeting with contractors, project team members to ensure client needs are being met as required. Responsible for developing and reviewing critical metrics and reports as the need arises. Staying up to date on current and emerging technologies and proposing solutions that drive operational efficiencies and client experience. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. What you'll need: STEM degree with Information Systems (hardware/software) concentration. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- 4+ years of experience with Data Center environments and Facilities Information Systems
- Preferred Certifications: Niagara N4, Siemens DesigoCC V5+, Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert, SkySpark, Automated Logic WebCtrl, Vertiv SiteScan, Distech, CompTIA, CCENT/CCNA
- In-depth understanding or working experience with industrial communication Protocols (Modbus, BACnet, OPC, MQTT)
- Working knowledge of basic networking fundamentals as related to operational technology (network monitoring, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, spanning tree, SSH, firewalls, TCP/IP, UDP and cybersecurity) Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $117,000 per hour.
