The facility tech works with the facilities manager to assist with the development and monitoring of preventative maintenance program for all facilities related equipment and systems.Impact of this role and key deliverablesAdhere to compliance with company policiesBasic knowledge of OSHA and EAP regulations.Perform minor building maintenance tasks as required: plumbing, electrical, air filters, doors, dock levers, floor stripping, etc.Assist with analysis- Determine risk and hazards associated with production process; ensuring processes are operational and effective.Assist in conducting evaluations and making recommendations regarding the potential fire hazards of building, finish goods, chemicals, and production equipment.Assist with coordinating tornado and fire drills.Assist with maintaining fire prevention system to assure national fire protection association and Fire marshall compliance.Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting the facilities, machinery, and safety equipment. Report findings and corrective actions to facilities manager.Perform other duties as requested by facility manager.Minimum RequirementsTraining on preventative maintenance for HVAC equipment and TRACER system management experienceBlueprint reading, Forklift certification, Electrical systems, HVAC, and BA systems.High school and Technical career desirable3 years on production areaAbout Bocar.:Bocar Group, was establish in 1958 in Mexico City, originally as a manufacturer of pumps and carburetors, is the Parent company of Bocar US, Inc.
