Job Description ROLE SUMMARY Provide general maintenance and facilities work for Regents School of Austin. Principles for conducting work

  • Maintain clear communication channels to the students, employees and parents
  • Be able to manage the flow of paperwork in an orderly manner
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up and breakdown for meetings and events.
  • Perform routine building maintenance
  • Restocking of paper goods
  • Basic building repairs including plumbing, painting, and electrical etc.
  • Assembly and movement of furniture and equipment
  • Assist with security needs in opening and closing buildings and gates
  • Inspect buildings interior and exterior, playground equipment and grounds and perform minor repairs
  • Hang pictures, mirrors, whiteboards, projector screens paper and soap dispensers
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work orders
  • Ability to work independently
  • Cleaning tasks and janitorial duties as needed
  • Provide oversight to temporary or contracted laborers
  • Report maintenance issues requiring specialized service
  • Be available by cell phone during work hours
  • Any additional tasks requested by supervisor which may not appear on this list

Experience and Skills SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to operate light mechanical equipment such as riding lawn mowers, manual and power hand tools, and power washer
  • Experience with general household and/or commercial building repairs
