Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full time Facilities Technician to assist in the daily operations and maintenance of twenty2 Wallpaper & Textiles' factory and studio. twenty2 is a female-led, high end private label wallpaper and textiles production company. We assist artists and designers in developing innovative digital wallpaper and textile collections and custom projects. In this role, your duties will be to perform general administrative tasks including facility maintenance and repairs, coordinate service vendors, and be the point of contact for all factory related needs. Facilities Technician Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, oversight, and action of any necessary factory/facilities maintenance and repair tasks or work that may be done in-house (this does not include oversight of the machines that are used in the production of wallpaper or textiles)
  • Manage and serve as the liaison between outside vendors and contractors as related to the facilities such as the security system, cleaning company, pest control, shredder, lawn care, landscaping, snow and pallet removal
  • Maintain and clean factory equipment adhering to their cleaning schedules, such as HVAC, compressor, and air filtration (Duster 3000)
  • Minor carpentry tasks such as building/repairing furniture or shelving
  • Safety Steward - Ensures safety equipment is up to standard and maintained according to schedule (ex: fire extinguishers, fire alarm, and smoke detectors) and works with leadership to perform safety audits and promote safety with the team
  • Operate a driving forklift, a walk-behind forklift and a hand pallet jack (training and certification provided)
    • Back up to Forklift maintenance
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of interior and exterior common areas and entrances. Taking out trash and recycling as needed
  • Restocking of factory supply items as needed, such as monitoring and re-filling toilet paper, soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies, First Aid Kits, air purifiers filter replacement, etc.
    • Connecting with Purchasing for reordering
  • Assists with all new warehouse facility improvements and installations
  • Ad hoc tasks as needed: Supporting special projects in all departments, customer/guest visits, team events etc..
  • Other related tasks as assigned by Lead
