We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Technician who will independently perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair duties in the electrical, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing areas. We are seeking an experienced individual with a High School Diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of experience in commercial facilities/building maintenance/repair (e.g. carpentry, plumbing and electrical work). The ideal candidate would have five (5) years experience with journeyman level work.The Court will pay for the following two certifications to be obtained within the first 6 months of hire: OSHA 10 and Cal-OSHA Asbestos O&M Initial 16-hour course (OSHA class 3). This Facilities Technician position will be based out of the Riverside Historic Courthouse in Riverside, CA and will travel countywide in a court provided vehicle.
