Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe maintenance technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems. The maintenance technician focuses on processes that support the production line goals and objectives.Essential Job Duties:Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipmentProvide both scheduled and in case of emergency unscheduled repairs of production equipmentPerform a variety of mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.Operate hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.Detection of faulty operations and defective material.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Basic Qualifications:Strong electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skillsGood communication skillsMust be a result driven, self-starterHigh school diploma/GEDAt least 2-year experience in MaintenancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with PLCAbility to speak and understand Spanish RequirementsJob requirements Standing for up to 8 hours per day.Lifting up to 50 lbsPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, Hourly position. Typical work hours are Monday - Thursday 5am to 3:30pm.
