This includes responsibility for the maintenance of the shopping center's electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural and building automation systems. You will work on a rotating schedule with 2 days off consecutively every week.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include...Perform maintenance and repair tasks in the areas of: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural features, finishes and other components and systems.Perform preventative maintenance and repair for all systems and equipment. Document the work that is performed on the written CCMS work order.Support all programs that are initiated by other departments within the organization, (i.e., Marketing, Security, Customer Service, Leasing, Specialty Leasing, SP&D, etc.), which includes set up and breakdown for events, RMUs, etc.Monitor, report and maintain the inventory of parts and supplies for the maintenance and/or repair of the shopping center.Ensure OSHA compliance in all applicable areas, including PPE requirements, hot work permit, and lock out tag out procedures, and maintain all required OSHA records.The ideal candidate will have...Ability to demonstrate general technical abilities in some or all of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, carpentryAbility to work with BAS or building controlsHas at least basic computer literacyAbility to work with a schedule and prioritize tasks to maximize proficiencyAbility to maintain and manage inventory of one or more divisionsCan usually work independently on assigned tasksMinimum of 2 to 3 years of related facilities maintenance experienceTechnical Certification(s) is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentA valid driver's license is requiredOther requirements...Ability to work a flexible work schedule and/or be called in to work, including late nights, early mornings, and weekends, as neededAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to work under stress and under short-term deadlinesAbility to multi-task and problem solve effectivelyAbility to move and/or transport up to 40lbs on a regular basis and up to 80lbs on an occasional basisAbility to ascend/descend stairs and ladders on a regular basis, and work at heightsAbility to detect and troubleshoot needed repairsAbility to regularly and effectively communicate in person and over a radio with coworkers and management including during occasional emergency situationsAbility to regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery and softwareAbility to work in temperature and non-temperature controlled environments, including in outdoor weather conditionsOur employees thrive with a rewarding work environment, competitive pay and outstanding benefits!
