Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionFacility CoordinatorGrand Fitness a Planet Fitness franchise is looking a dynamic individual to join their facility team. This role works closely with the Facilities and Operations teams that support Grand Fitness's portfolio of seventy-five Planet Fitness clubs across the country, while specifically focuses on the 15-25 clubs within their assigned region. The candidate must be detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking with time-sensitive material in a fast-paced environment, and proficient in managing a team to ensure operational efficiency. Being on call for emergencies and handling urgent situations is an essential part of the role.The right candidate will provide clear verbal and written communication with immediate supervisors, in-house maintenance staff, in-club management, city/government employees, project managers, and outside vendors. A strong sense of ownership-ensuring issues are handled through completion-is key to success. Proficiency and prior experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required, and familiarity with property management software tracking programs is preferred.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversees total issue resolution in assigned market, including prioritizing work orders, managing preventative maintenance, dispatching and managing technicians, sourcing and managing vendors, and more.Oversee financial management of the portfolio, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict adherence to budget constraints.Oversee financial management of the portfolio, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining strict adherence to budget constraints.Resolves incidents and requests in a timely manner; documents work and resolution steps within service management tool.Manages facility technicians, including schedules and assignments for the area under management, plus hiring and performance management to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.Works closely with cross-functional partners to ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved as needed during repairsEscalates incidents and requests to appropriate internal personnel or external vendors when further expertise is required.Maintains compliance documentation for annual inspections for fire alarm, sprinkler, elevator and tanning, managing corrections as needed.Assists or coordinates with national project delivery, including documentation, testing, training, and deployment for solutions.Adheres to standards, policies, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.Other duties as assigned.Fosters Team Collaboration and Cooperation: Dedicates to and supports a collaborative, high-performing work environment with peers, cross-functional partners and managers.Drives for Success: Seizes opportunities and proactively takes concrete actions to complete tasks.
