Facility Maintenance, Day shift/ 8am-4pm
: Job Details :

Description Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform regular and preventative maintenance/repairs in and around the facility to include but not limited to production equipment and support equipment (i.e. inserters, cutters, folders, hydraulic lifts, forklifts, etc.).

Conduct repairs throughout facility to include but not limited to plumbing, heating, electrical work, and wiring.

Install and maintain equipment such as conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fork trucks, pallet jacks, material handling equipment, all graphic art related equipment, and building HVAC equipment.

Ensure the cleanliness in and around the facility (i.e. disposal of all litter, trash and debris on grounds, streets, and parking lots).

Install all equipment as needed.

Security - Ensure that locks and security systems are always operational.

Provide recommendations and coordinate special projects.

Work with operators and maintenance team to maximize machine uptime and productivity.

Review maintenance requests, safety reports and estimate time/material required to complete the task.

Responsible to handle hazardous waste in a safe manner by following the safety procedures.

Respond to service calls, troubleshoot malfunctions, determine parts, and repair procedures to place equipment in operating condition.

Complete paperwork and use timekeeping system efficiently.

Communicate with next shift about status of job(s) and any special instructions.

Coordinate and partner with cross functional team members for compliance, safety, and operation management.

Complete other tasks as requested by Leader.

Skills Abilities Required:

Ability to weld (electric, gas, brazing, etc.).

Ability to modify and fabricate equipment.

Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).

Ability to perform machine repair on all types of printing equipment preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems using a volt ohm meter (VOM).

Leadership skills.

Ability to logically troubleshoot equipment.

Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Physical effort - refer to physical demand analysis.

High school or GED.

Fluency in the English language is a requirement for this position to ensure the safety of all employees and team members.
