Facilities TechnicianDuro-Last Roofing has a full-time opening for a Facilities Technician. This position will be located at our Company Headquartersin Saginaw, Michigan.This will eventually be a first shift This is a great opportunity that allows for advancement.Job Responsibilities:
- Carrying out repair and maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facilities and equipment
- Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order
- Inspecting facilities to identify areas that require maintenance or repair work
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Communicating with facility managers and other relevant personnel to keep them informed of maintenance and repair work being carried out
- All other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in facility maintenance
- Specialty in at least one skilled trade desired, but not required
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
- Ability to carry out repair and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
