Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's facilities, including buildings, equipment, and systems, to ensure a safe and functional environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any maintenance needs
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly and efficiently
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the life of equipment and systems
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and update maintenance schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Experience in performing repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
