The Facility Manager will oversee all aspects of the waste disposal facility's daily operations. Job Type: Full Time, On-site Responsibilities for the Facility Manager:
- Oversee daily operations, including waste processing, equipment maintenance, and logistics coordination.
- Ensure the facility complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local standards.
- Manage, train, and evaluate facility staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance the facility's performance and safety.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for necessary services and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely.
- Address emergencies and incidents in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare reports on facility operations, compliance, and performance metrics for senior management review.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the facility's efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements of the Facility Manager:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of Operations Management experience
- Experienced in the Waste, Recycling, and Heavy Equipment industry
- Active CDL A or B license is a plus
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of business and financial principles.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
