Make an impact on environments where our youth learn, work, and play!The Budd Group is searching for a Facility Operations Support Specialist, Private Education to add to our growing team! This person is responsible for strategic and tactical planning and technical on-site operational support for the private K-12 and Higher Education contract group; this includes the development of operational, financial, quality, and integrated facilities management services. This role will also be part of the private education implementation team and will travel to locations throughout the southeast United States.Location: This position is based at one of The Budd Group's major markets with access to major airports, such as Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh, and the Triad in NC.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for providing strong technical guidance and leadership to operation staff of skilled maintenance personnel.Lead and direct our account management teams with unique operational insights for integrated facilities services within the educational vertical.Develop, maintain and foster relationships with clients, key stakeholders, internal and external, providing a focus on discovering areas for improvement and opportunities to expand services at existing education accounts.When needed, assume onsite leadership during short- or long-term Budd Group school leadership absences.Foster and maintain effective client relationships while onsite.Support onsite leadership, helping to write best practices, SOW's and KPI's in support of all facility-related services with a focus on day-to-day operations, ensuring facilities are operating at capacity, and our team is effectively delivering agreed upon work to all customers.Create a facilities condition audit program (FCA). Provide clients with a plan of maintenance repair and replacement schedules for all assets on campus one to three years out.Develop and make presentations to client leadership and boards where appropriate in support of client's current initiatives.Work with existing account teams to identify areas needing improvement relating to operational and maintenance strategy and leveraging use of CMMS to streamline work order process and to find tasks The Budd Group is capable of performing as an added value.Support the procurement function at client locations by identifying key suppliers and vendors whose businesses align with The Budd Group and customer needs and priorities.Support, when needed, Talent Recruitment and Development.Ensure safety standards are enforced in all operations.Additional Responsibilities:Audit all schools yearly where contracted to provide plant operations support services and all new schools 90 days after implementation.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with branches in order to provide a unified approach for the customer.Ensure client satisfaction leading to customer growth and retention.Establish the vision and strategy of the team ensuring there is alignment with the client objectives and interests.Leadership Qualities:Addresses issues openly and quickly to resolve and move forward.Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey that need to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent degree from a technical school in Facilities Maintenance, Building Maintenance Technology, or related field preferred.3+ years experience working in a leadership role - supporting the plant operations, engineering, and maintenance of large complex organizations.3+ years experience in budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, CMMS technology.Strong background in HVAC or electrical field - prefer someone who is or was certified in one of these trades and has hands-on experience.Ability to travel 80%.Must have a valid Drivers License and good driving record.Why Work For The Budd Group?!?We are a God-honoring company of excellence.PTO - Vacation, Sick Time, 9 Major Holidays, 2 Floating Holidays, and 1 Volunteer day to go serve your community!Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits.Life, Accident, and Disability Insurance.HSA and FSA programs.401(k) - We Match!Free Online Classes for professional and personal development available to ALL employees.Free Mental Health and Financial Assistance Programs.Pay on Demand + Cash Back rewards program.#J-18808-Ljbffr
