We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic- Plumber to assist with our operation forWhat You Will Do:Perform and assist with all aspects of installation, renovation, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and planning work pertaining to the mechanical trade of plumbing.Assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for domestic water, wastewater, sanitary and gas systems. Additional plumbing duties include assembly, installation, or repair of pipes, fittings, or fixtures, for water, waste, or drainage systems, according to specifications or plumbing codes.Install, trouble shoot, rebuild, and repair various pump systems including centrifugal and air diaphragm.Assist other trades with complex facility repair, including material rigging and some sheet metal fabrication.May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications within trade specialization.Qualifications You Must Have:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.2+ year experience Plumbing within Industrial/Commercial/Manufacturing environment.P-2 or P-1 CT State Plumbing License.Experience with boom and scissor lifts.Experience with Forklifts.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer:Successful completion from accredited higher education program.5+ years' experience Plumbing within Industrial/ Commercial/ Manufacturing.CT State Backflow Prevention Device Testing Certification.Learn More & Apply Now!Must be a U.S. Citizen.
