By creating a care continuum between our clinicians, patients and their support networks we deliver an unparalleled approach to the patient's care journey.Purpose:The Facility Services Support position acts as the primary Practice contact for issues related to vendor correspondence and safety. The position also performs stocking duties, stat deliveries, and maintaining overall appearance of facility.Responsibilities/Essential Functions (other duties as assigned):Orders supplies and accurately stocks supply areas on a daily basis. Ensures delivery of supplies is coordinated with the appropriate staff/departments.Effectively monitors and documents the need for additional supplies on appropriate forms. Provides accurate information to Supervisor for processing of supply order. Maintains logs and inventory information for linen's, snacks, and medical supplies.Oversees Safety/Fire/Hazard of building and participates in regular safety committee meetings. Maintains compliance with City of Fresno, & State of California. Also assists with the preparation of annual inspections and drills.Maintains off-site storage facilities and ensures they are kept neat and orderly. Acts as primary Practice contact, gathering information on vendor contracts. Also effectively addresses issues of repairs and maintenance while maintaining vendor relations and maintaining list with appropriate contacts in order to make appropriate phone calls for facilities issues. This includes but is not limited to, landscaping, housekeeping, engineering and safety needs.Effectively performs other routine projects and duties as assigned by management (such as, but not limited to: maintain lobby & refreshment areas, maintain supply areas in a near and orderly fashion, ensuring supply areas are properly stocked), moves furniture as needed, coordinates events per department manager).Experience, Qualifications/Education:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid California Driver's License with a clean driving record and proof of insuranceZero to two years related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environmentStrong customer service background, preferably in healthcare environmentCurrent CPR certification requiredKnowledge of computer/telephony support, preferably in a health care environmentStrong customer service background, preferably in health care environmentExcellent verbal communication skillsCompetence with computer processing functions and other standard office equipmentAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasksAbility to calmly and professionally resolve customer issues with diplomacy and tactAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skillsWorking Conditions: This position functions primarily indoors in a medical / business environment. Employee may be subject to blood borne pathogens, radiation, bio waste and other medically-related factors, with exposure to moderate noise levels.Visual acuity to read and compute screen and paper documents; close and distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, ability to adjust focus; hearing acuity to converse with staff and customers; ability to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and lift and move 25 pounds on a regular basis; ability to sit for hours at a time Employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels, interruptions, and occasionally asked to work evening and weekends as needed.
