Job Description:
FULL TIME - 40 HR PER WEEKJOB SUMMARY:
  • Minor carpentry, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, wall repairs, light bulb replacement, handing pictures/bulletins/dry erase boards.
  • Water filter replacement.
  • Ceiling tile replacement.
  • Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
  • Bathroom maintenance; such as repair bathroom fixtures, unclog commodes, sinks and sewage lines.
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
  • Communicate with outside contractors as needed.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Maintain building aesthetic standards.
  • Responsible for keeping maintenance records as necessary and the facility event calendar.
  • Maintain supply and tool inventory and order as needed.
  • Perform workstation, conference room and event set-up.
  • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Perform routine building grounds and equipment checks.
  • Provide assistance moving items throughout the building as needed.
  • General maintenance of grounds to include snow removal, weeding, watering outdoor plants, mowing and lawncare.
  • Perform company vehicle cleanliness checks regularly.
  • Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
WORKING HOURS:Hours as scheduled, 8 hours per day, 40 Hours per week, excluding holidays as stated in the Personnel Policies of the Licking County Aging Program, Inc.SALARY:$15.00-$21.35 (based on experience level)RequirementsREQUIREMENTS:Commitment and desire to provide excellent service to all clients and aging community members. Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend, and follow policies and procedures, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Must be able to perform all job responsibilities satisfactorily and meet the Facilities Specialist physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver's License and the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request). All job offer applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and urine drug screening. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Prefer high school graduate or equivalent. Valid Ohio Driver's License is required. May require standing for more than one hour, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching above your head, good range of motion in neck, good manual dexterity and coordination, stair climbing, and climbing in and out of a vehicle. You may be exposed to adverse climatic conditions in the outdoor environment.Regular and reliable attendance is expected, including the ability to work assigned shifts as scheduled.
