The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant work experience in a production environment and first level supervisor or project lead proficiency.

Job Summary
This position plays an essential role in effectively managing the day-to-day safety and security of the employees / visitors as well as the operations and maintenance of the facility's building, equipment, and grounds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Maintains safe and secure work environment for staff / visitors.
* Oversee the daily operation of facility equipment and systems.
* Coordinate, schedule, and supervise repairs and maintenance with staff and contractors.
* Enforce safety rules and procedures and oversee ongoing training of staff.
* Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with company/plant policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
* Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
* Coordinate construction and renovation projects as needed.
* Maintain accurate facility records and prepare reports for management.
* Evaluates performance of individual employees based on goals for productivity and quality.
* Develops and implements processes to reduce labor and material costs.
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers.
* Analyzes department procedures regarding quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and productivity. Implements corrective action and/or improvement plan if needed, tracks progress.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
* This position requires the incumbent to experience frequent periods of sitting, standing, walking, bend, stoop, kneel and twist.
