Text FacSup12 to 508 ### #### Facility Supervisor Burlington Ice Palace Burlington MA Making our Community a Better Place Starts with You Join our Team Make a Difference Facility Management Corporation known as FMC Ice Sports was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations as well as ice based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating We have established a record of quality operations and have grown to be the largest operator of public arenas in the United States FMC operates 25 public ice skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in long term partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions The Facility Supervisor is responsible for on site supervision of staff and facilities to ensure that clean safe and healthy facilities are available Routine maintenance and janitorial functions of the facility while it is open to the public is required Responsible for drivingoperating ice resurfacer Reporting to the General Manager or Arena Manager this position will work alone and with other positions as required by the facility activities schedule Work schedule will include nights weekends and some holidays as necessary to meet the needs of our patrons and to complete job responsibilities Full time position Eligible for medical dental vision HSA 401K and earned time after eligibility period is met Preferred Skills and Qualifications HS Diploma or GEDMust be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Drivers LicenseOne 1 year work experience in an ice arena or similar organization with some exposure to the operations and maintenance functions knowledge of equipment preferred but not requiredExperience driving an ice resurfacer operation preferred but willing to trainMust be a self starter with ability to analyze situations and develop solutions to problems with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals and groups interested in recreational matters representing different interestsMust possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectivelyResponsibilities include Maintain and secure facility Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilitiesComplete and maintain required logs Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basisScheduling and payroll as determined by the GeneralArena Manager Training of new hires in coordination with the GeneralArena Manager and Operations PersonnelOversight of the on site staff including Facility Operators and Facility Support StaffDemonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers Compensation Base pay range 24 28 per hour Eligible for annual increase of 2 4 based upon performance Eligible for year end discretionary bonus Individual compensation packages are based upon various factors unique to each candidate Why work at FMC Ice Sports The information presented indicates the general nature and level of work expected of employees in this classification It is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties responsibilities qualifications and objectives required of employees assigned to this job All offers are contingent upon passing a thorough background check including a CORI SORI and National Criminal History Background check FMC Ice Sports is an Equal Opportunity Employer
