Job Description:
Job Title: Facility Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Facility Technician to perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of our buildings. You will maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems. You will monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, and diffusers. Additionally, you will verify field conditions, perform repairs or adjustments, monitor Energy Management, and perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with industry best practices. Responsibilities include repairing doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors, plumbing fixtures, and performing general repairs. You will also conduct fire and life safety inspections, respond to emergency situations, and comply with all applicable codes and regulations. Hard Skills

Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Santa Clara, California. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions. You will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. The role requires physical activity including stooping, standing, climbing, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. You must be able to read and understand information presented orally and in writing, and speak clearly. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4:30pm.
