Job Summary:The Industrial Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial and manufacturing processes. This position involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication between departments, and supporting the leadership team in maintaining efficient and effective operations. The Industrial Administrator will handle documentation, scheduling, reporting, and other administrative functions that contribute to the productivity and success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the management and production teams.
- Maintain and organize records, reports, and documentation related to production, inventory, and operations.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation for meetings and decision-making processes.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between different departments, including production, procurement, and quality control, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the industrial management team.
- Handle internal and external communications, including responding to emails, phone calls, and other inquiries.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to production, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on operational metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Procurement and Inventory Management:
- Assist with the procurement process, including tracking orders, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that production requirements are met while minimizing excess stock.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and information to regulatory agencies or internal auditors.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within administrative functions and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems, procedures, and technologies to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role within an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, safety regulations, and compliance standards is a plus.
Working Conditions:
