Overview
Teach a course(s) in the MS Data Analytics program with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics.
Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
* Teaching program course(s)
* Preparing lectures, assignments, assessments, and course material as needed for the course(s)
* Grading assignments, projects, papers, presentations, and/or exams and providing students with valuable and timely feedback
* Developing or updating the syllabus to reflect what is taught in the course(s) and how it is presented and assessed
* Collaborating with the Director to implement necessary assessment tools into relevant course materials
Qualifications
Education, Preparation, and Training
* Doctoral degree
* At least one year of teaching experience
* At least three years of professional experience
Skills
* Knowledge of the subject matter and online teaching/classroom management skills
* Data Analytics
* Mathematics and statistics
* Healthcare sector data analysis
* Databases and data modeling
* Visualization
* Data mining and data warehousing
* Healthcare security and privacy policy (e.g., HIPAA)
Physical Demands
